Time for each other, experiences close to nature and richer cultural experiences make you feel freedom, joy, belonging and unity. Committed people offer experiences that leave positive traces! Take a breather, relax and experience the rich culture, living history and great outdoors with us!
The Regionalpark is named after the Halden Canal, because this is the most magnificent cultural monument in the area, and an arena for a lot of exciting activity. Our values are genuine, positive, inclusive, diverse and generous. The Halden Canal Regional Park will develop the canal and the surrounding landscape areas. Through experiences that are enriched in the interaction between nature and people, we work to create a profitable business and a rich cultural life along the Halden Canal based on nature, expertise and small towns where people not only live, but live!
The Halden Canal Regional Park comprises a geographically delimited landscape area with a common culture and identity basis. The park is located in the southeast of Norway, right on the border with Sweden, and only a good hour from Oslo. The nearest airport is Oslo Airport Gardermoen. Halden town can also be easily reached by Inter City train.
